Visitation

Parents are encouraged to visit Overbrook Elementary School, however we ask that you adhere to the following procedures:

• Please send a note to your child’s teacher or call the school to request an appointment.  You will be unable to speak with the teacher during instructional time.  This also includes the beginning of the day. The teacher is required to supervise the students at all times and while conferencing with parents they are unable to do this task in a satisfactory manner.
• Upon entering the building, everyone must report directly to the school office to receive a visitor’s pass.  For the safety of all the children, no one is permitted to walk through the building without this identification.  Parents are asked NOT TO WALK their child to their classroom in the morning.  The school also requires that you go to the main office and sign your child out in the event of an early dismissal.
